Dear Joyce; Firstly thanks so much for the birthday wishes, even though you are the one who needs the attention. I'm happy you pulled through this ordeal. It must have been a to…, in my humble opinion it wasn't all that bad. I never really felt any side effects from it. Hope you start feeling more comfortable soon. Take care and thanks for the update.

The hospice should have a social worker, a bereavement counselor, and a chaplain; please avail yourself of their services. They are there for you as much as your dad.
I am so sorry that you are going thru this.

Hi Michelle-
My last treatment was 3 and 1/2 weeks ago. Every day gets better and better. It's slow, but be patient. Your body has been through quite alot.
I did have some sor… little better each day.
It takes a lot of strength and courage to get through the treatments for this cancer. Congratulations! You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Hi Martha,
May I use your response to Michelle regarding her last treatment? You brought up some very good points about bone density and the mixed emotions that go along with the last day of treatment.
Thanks,
Theresa

Hi Michelle,
Congrats on the completing this chapter. The next one is no picnic but at least it's different. Martha is right about feeling vulnerable and susceptible to being depr…, as to love; for it is in giving that we receive, and it is in pardoning, that we are pardoned and it is in dying, that we are born to eternal life.

Ann,
I didn't have my first scan until I was 3 months post treatment. And I just had a follow up colonoscopy and biopsy on Friday which is about 5 months post treatment. I sti…on all my vitamens soon after my treatment. But be sure and check with your doctor to make sure he wants you to start them. Sending lots of hugs and prayers to you!
Love,

Hi Michelle--
Congrats on your graduation day! I'm so glad you are done with your treatments and can begin the healing phase. I understand the emotions you may be feeling toda…nd that you will have a quick recovery from the treatment. Listen to your body and don't push too hard. Take care and let us know how today went. You're in my prayers.

I go to the dr. on tuesday for the official reply to the pathology report. I can ask him that type of question then. I can't imagine it being anymore aggressive than it was this …ptions there so that alone is a big worry. Thanks for mentioning this, it reenforces my line of thought on this. That is something this board is great for. Keep in touch.
